Intro: Hello to all you Trek-earthers!

My name is Costa Mihail and am 28 years old, living in South Africa.

A couple of years ago, whilst searching for photos of my favourite place in the world, Santorini - not very original but you got to admit, UNBELIEVABLE place :) , I stumbled upon a site which contained some of the most beautiful photos I had ever seen! I think this is what initially sparked my interest in photography.

Anyway, since then, I would visit the site on a daily basis simply to marvel at the beautiful works of art on display, hoping that one day I would reach the same level of photography.

And so I began my journey into this spectacular yet unfamiliar world. A world where one has the freedom to express any and every emotion, a world where time would stand still and all the beauty and majesty of the moment would be captured for all eternity.

The site is Trekearth and the inspiration comes from your photos, which have left me in utter awe since day one!

I continue to strive towards that level, which maybe I'll reach, maybe I won't... Either way, I've learnt plenty from you all, so, thank you!!
